AFP - The death toll in a bomb blast on a Russian passenger train rose to 26 on Monday after an injured woman died in hospital, the country's health minister said, quoted by news agencies.

"Yesterday one woman died in hospital. That means that one more woman has been added to the toll of 25," Health Minister Tatyana Golikova was quoted as saying by the Interfax news agency.

Russian investigators have said that the Friday evening derailment of the Nevsky Express, an up-scale passenger train travelling from Moscow to Saint Petersburg, was caused by a bomb planted on the tracks.
