China has provided a boost for a potential deal at the climate summit in Copenhagen. Beijing says it does not expect to benefit from funds earmarked for emerging countries to help them adapt to cleaner technologies. Previously China had fudged the question of whether it wanted assistance from rich countries. Is this a policy shift?
