Injured Manchester United player Wayne Rooney will be out of the game for the next four weeks, reported Sky Sports on Wednesday.
The England striker will miss two crucial games including the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final against Bayern Munich and a Premier League clash against title rival Chelsea on April 4.
But unlike his England teammate David Beckham, it seems likely that Rooney will be fit for this summer's FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
Footage from Manchester United's fixture against German side Bayern Munich on Tuesday showed Wayne Rooney landed awkwardly on his right ankle.
