Former FARC hostage says request for millions in damages is 'symbolic'

Ingrid Betancourt, held hostage by Colombia's FARC rebels for six years, said on Sunday that her request for almost $7 million in compensation from the government was "symbolic". Betancourt and 14 others were freed by the Colombian army in 2008.
