Parliamentary report says former PM should be tried for 2008 banking collapse

A parliamentary commission said Saturday that Iceland's former premier Geir Haarde (photo) should be tried for negligence alongside the former ministers of finance, commerce and foreign affairs for the 2008 collapse of the country's banking system.
