expulsion of Roma (Gypsies)

I support what the French have done in the expulsion of Roma (Gypsies).

What right do the Gypsies or anyone else have to set up illegal traveler camps just when and where they like.

Comply with basics, make a positive contribution within society, support the less able.

THE ROMA DILEMMA:

THE ROMA DILEMMA:

If the EU Constitution has provisions for the Free Movement of any EU member/citizen, to take up residence in any EU country, and to seek employment therein.

Then the ROMA people also have this right of movement!

But when or what situation would be legal, if any EU country is unable to absorb large influxes of immigrants.

Derryck.
NYC.

Roma expulsion from France

The French are beginning to see a different side of their beloved EU.Like us in Britain they are finding out how this monstrous institution, the European Commission, interferes with the basics rights of the citizen. Surely it is time to end the whole farce and dissolve this unwanted layer of bureaucracy. Most of us would be happy to get out tomorrow if our government had the guts to act.
