Weed wars: the battle in California

A hundred years ago, the state of California was a pioneer in drug enforcement laws. But today it has become a haven for people looking to make a living growing marijuana. The state is fighting back, however. Proponents of legalising cannabis were defeated in a referendum last month, and authorities are cracking down on producers of marijuana with military-style raids on their illegal farms.
