I agree in principle with that first comment.
It must be marvellous to be able to 'resign' his elected post here in the UK, so he can then become an unelected 'ambassador' to the world, spreading the word for whatever it is he has to say.
Who is paying for his 'ambassadorial' jollies, from where did he get his legitimacy to jaunt all over the place sticking his oar in, probably often where his nose really has no business being stuck in??
His youthful activities here in the politics of the UK were gained from being hyped up by Murdoch, providing a needed breathing space for the Tories to recover ground lost due to the outcome of the very unpopular policies of the Thatcher regime.
Once he departed from the British scene he has become a spectral figure, flitting across the world's political stage, do nothing of practical importance, except of course to his own advantage.
I detect little of value emanating from his constant appearances, wherever he pops up.
