The US and France stepped up their criticism of President Bashar al-Assad Tuesday, with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton saying he was "not indispensable." France meanwhile pressured the UN Security Council to officially condemn Syria.
In order to determine that Assad has "lost legitimacy", Clinton must have compared him to someone who has not "lost legitimacy". Who, pray tell, could that be? They certainly must not now hold political office. Clinton should disclose her secret stadard-bearer for legitimacy, so that we can elect them to some high office, or put them in charge of the UN.

Syria brings back frightful memories of Iran under Khomeni when his thugs stormed our embassy and took its staff hostage. Now we have the Syrians doing the same thing so wake up Mrs. Clinton and bring the embassy staff back home. Bush did not have an ambassador to Syria to show our displeasure and you and Obama said Bush was wrong but now we have to ask why did you do it and more importantly why you are not pulling him out.
Clinton is the one who's lost legitimacy. She's a prime example of how not only men, but women can be bought off by the system. She's an Obama lackey. She says what she's told to say. The unfortunate thing is that people listen to her because of her position. She needs to be put into another assignment, or better yet, removed when Obama loses his bid for re-election.
