The fall of the President's men

In today's French papers, both the euro and Nicolas Sarkozy's government remain in crisis - today's fresh scandal involves phone hacking, the head of the intelligence services, and a judge close to Sarkozy.

Liberation has more bad news for President Sarkozy - this time it's the investigation of a judge he's close friends with, over allegations he hacked journalists' phones.

There's also criticism of his budget in La Tribune, and plenty of analysis of the Socialist primary - Le Parisien says the candidates were pretty convincing in last night's debate, while France Soir says they may even have to print more ballot papers due to popular demand.
