it is not understood the ban of some specific clothing ,if this is relegious mattter , i think we should prevent your women in our countreis to wear freely , they should wear as our women by the law , then and only then you would undersand that it is a private matter.
Majority of Islamic scolars have conceded that wearing a veil is not required by Islam in the qoran as claimed. It is a requirement by certain Arabic traditions who happened to be Muslims and was endorsed in early times by Muslim scholars as a respectable thing for women to adhere to. Hence, the religious claim is bogus. Nonetheless, I find the French law banning it also absurd and discrimnatory.
Stupid Muslims comment about how Islam is the way and we should all make concessions to them. If you look at any Islamic country, they all look like real shitholes to me!! If it's so great there why they moving to the West!!

You are absolutely right, as a non muslim in a muslim country you are compelled to abide by the laws of that country with absolute brutality. Imagine a lady on a sunny day in bikini by the sea side in Saudi Arabia! your guess is as good as mine that's on good short court to committing suicide. Instant justice by hanging without appeal in what is tagged Harram!!!.
A country where the First Lady's nude pictures are easily accessible and a lady wearing Hijab is punished has seriously got its morality turned upside down. Very soon the French will realize the folly of this useless law that bans veils!
This issue is spreading throughout the world and has become a matter of pertinent discourse. I wrote about it a while back when the issue was still relatively new and now countries like Canada are taking hold of wrong priorities. If you beleive you can change my mind, comment! I am open to new views :)
What does he mean women's rights? In France you abide by French law. It is exactly the same as if we would be living in an Arabic state, and would have to live by their laws, we wouldn't protest their laws now would we?
And in this day and age, is it a surprise if the state wants to see people's faces in public?
If that lawyer decides to fund an appeal or in any way support her flouting the law, he too should spend a couple of years taking lessons of how to comply with the law in the country he resides in, the alternative being he may leave at any time and set up shop in some Islamic republic here he can practice Sharia to his hearts content.
Of the woman refuses to comply with the law, she too may be persuaded to exit the country and set up; home where she will not be required to obey laws that are not to her taste.
Maybe the threat to evict her will show her the error of her ways, or alternatively, she can depart and good riddance.
its antisocial to be walking in the street with your face cover if a crime is commited serious or otherwise we need to identify the criminal how can we give positive identification of a criminal with acovered face its best to deal with this siteaution now, in the future criminals might be unleached on the society and never be brought to justice because their face was covered i advise the french society to stand firm on this law
If I went to a muslim country I, as a westerner, would be expected to conform with the laws etc of that country. Why is it so difficult for muslim women to conform with the laws of a western country?? You know what the laws are, so either conform or stay away and remain in those countries where you can hide your face behind a veil.

There are plenty of countries in which it is acceptable for her to where a full burqa. She should move to one of them, if she cannot abide by the law.

I think that's a good law which protects everyone. This is french law not islamic law. You in France so submit to the law, stop the selfishness.
