Certain scars have not healed in Franco-Algerian ties since the Algerian war of independence (1954-1962). Two cartoonists - Plantu of Le Monde and Dilem of the Algerian paper Liberté - unite for one cartoon called 'La Réconciliation': an Algerian dares a Frenchman across the Mediterranean to "take the first step" towards making up. That's the focus for this Thursday 5th July 2012.
