Thousands displaced as New York temperatures drop

As temperatures reached near-freezing, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg said Sunday that Hurricane Sandy had left 30,000 to 40,000 people in need of housing, while officials worried how the storm will affect voting in the presidential election.
