The two American 'experts'

The two American 'experts' who dominated your post-conference studio discussion could do, I suspect, with the kind of tuition in public speaking and PR that they were so freely and loudly offering M. Hollande. Simple courtesy would help, as would less reliance on repetitive formulae like "The very fact that we're discussing this shows...", "The fact that we're even discussing semantics proves...". I was expecting "The fact that I'm wearing this stubble demonstrates" but, to everyone's relief, the programme ran out of time and the duo were cut short. Phew! What expertise!
