Story 1: Madagascar
We begin today with zebu rustling. Zebu are the hump-backed cattle you see in Africa and Asia. On the island nation of Madagascar, it's a tradition for a man to steal a zebu on the eve of his wedding, to show he's capable of feeding a family. But that tradition has turned into organised crime, with gangs stealing zebu to order. Here's our Observer Leila.
Story 2: Iraq
Rebuilding Iraq with their own hands... Our next Observer donates his time to a group that's trying to do just that. They call themselves the Iraq Builders, and their biggest source of funding is their Facebook page. Here's Zaid Hani Koursheed.
