Is there such thing as 'telegenic' victims of war?

Anger at the rising death toll in Gaza has prompted some to ask for a stop to graphic postings, while others fear censorship. And with Russia suporting the UN Security Council resolution for an investigation into flight MH17, uncomfortable truths could come to light.

While the Guardian's Suzanne Moore wants everyone to stop posting graphic photos of war casualties, the Independent argues that censorship could allow us to forget the horrors of war.

The Telegraph says there's little possibility of understanding across the camps as long as they accuse each other of bad faith.

The Financial Times says the tide is turning for the Russian president, who has painted himself into a corner on Ukraine.
