Core issues: resignation of finance chief hits EDF

EDF's finance chief has resigned over a €23 billion plan to build a nuclear plant at Hinkley Point in the UK. Thomas piquemal wanted the French state-owned company to wait before making a final investment decision. The resignation is also damaging to the image of a new reactor type that's been billed as the future of the French nuclear industry.
