Libya’s NTC leader says election could be delayed

The head of Libya's National Transitional Council, Mustafa Abdel Jalil, said Monday he expects the national assembly election to be delayed. He did not specify a new date for the elections, which were originally schedule for June 18.

Former Libyan oil minister Shukri Ghanem (pictured), whose body was found in the Danube river on Sunday morning, died from drowning, an autopsy revealed Monday. Ghanem defected from Muammar Gaddafi's regime in June last year.
