Spanish cyclist Alberto Contador (pictured) Tuesday said he did not rule out appealing the two-year ban handed down to him by sport’s highest court for failing a doping test. Contador blames his positive test on contaminated meat.

Cyclist Contador loses Tour de France title over doping

Spanish cyclist Alberto Contador on Monday was stripped of his Tour de France 2010 title and received a two-year suspension after being found guilty of doping. The ban was backdated, and Contador will be allowed to resume competition in August.
