US team Oracle won the 33rd America's Cup Sunday after a victory against defending Swiss champion Alinghi. Oracle is the first American team to win the America's Cup since 1992.
The America's Cup, the oldest sporting competition in the world, is about to start in Valencia, Spain, after months of trials between two rivals, the Swiss defender, Alinghi, and the US challenger, Oracle owners.
