Tour de France: Belkin Pro Cycling (NED)

Text by FRANCE 24

Latest update : 2013-06-28

Below are the tactics and composition of the Dutch team Belkin Pro Cycling in the 2013 Centenary Tour de France.

The Dutch team has raced under the name "Blanco" all year - in a bid to promote themselves as "clean and honest" after previous sponsor Rabobank pulled out in the wake of the Lance Armstrong doping scandal. A last-minute deal with US consumer electronics giant Belkin means the team has a new name - Belkin Pro Cycling - and fresh wind in its sails. The team is made up of fresh faces including leader Bauke Mollema. Other names to watch include Robert Gesink, Sep Vanmarcke and Lars Boom.

The team:

Lars Boom (NED), Laurens ten Dam (NED), Robert Gesink (NED), Tom Leezer (NED), Bauke Mollema (NED), Lars Petter Nordhaug (NOR), Bram Tankink (NED), Sep Vanmarcke (BEL), Maarten Wynants (BEL).
