Persian Gulf
By Ali Reza
Persian Gulf has always kept its name and reputation for thousands of years. The international organizations and American headquarters always address this region as "Persian Gulf".France has always been known as a the cradle of freedom and liberality. Unfortunately there has been a movement by French media and cultural associations such as Louvre museum which aims at violating the international conventions and insisting on faking the plain fact. While the theocracy in Iran has weakened over the years until now, it is most expected that the media of the free world maintain respect and honesty toward the people of a country regardless of how their regime is behaving in the world. However, along with the Arab states, the French media also fake the fact and refer to "Gulf" instead of its historic name "Persian Gulf". May be the same should be done with the French territories or Arab states. I feel sorry that democracy and liberalism is sacrificed in today's world just for the sake of Oil polluted money.
