An El Al passenger plane flying from Paris to Tel Aviv has landed safely at Ben-Gurion Airport after a warning was received that al Qaeda may have planted a bomb on board.
An El Al plane flying from Paris to Tel Aviv landed safely on Wednesday after a warning was received that al Qaeda may have planted a bomb on board, Israeli security sources said.
They said all passengers had left the Boeing 767, at Ben-Gurion Airport and that searches were under way in the plane.
Israel's Channel Two television reported that the plane, which flew over Greece en route to Tel Aviv, was escorted by French, Greek and Israeli air force jets following the bomb scare.
