Leveaux breaks his own world record in 100m freestyle

Amaury Leveaux has broken his own world record of 45.12 seconds from just the previous day in the 100m freestyle at the European championships in Rijeka, Croatia, setting a new record of 44.94 seconds.

AFP - French swimmer Amaury Leveaux broke the 100 metres freestyle world record here on Saturday timing 44.94 seconds at the European championships.

The Frenchman was breaking the mark he set of 45.12 sec here on Friday.
