Dario Cologna holds on to lead in Tour de Ski

Norway's Petter Northug won the fourth event of the men's Tour de Ski, the skiing race inspired by the Tour de France cycling event. Switzerland’s Dario Cologna leads the race, which will see its two most difficult stages in Italy this weekend.

AFP -  Norway's Petter Northug and Arianna Follis of Italy won the fourth round of the Tour de Ski nordic event on Thursday, a freestyle run at the Czech venue of Nove Mesto.

Northug finished ahead of compatriot Tor Arne Hetland and Christian Zorzi of Italy while Switzerland's Dario Cologna, who was fifth, kept his lead in the series.

In the women's event, Follis, who won the second round, saw off Slovenia's Petra Majdic and Finland's Aino Kaisa Saarinen.
