A donor conference has been arranged in Canada – Montreal is home to some 100,000 Haitian immigrants, there before the devastating earthquake, now worried about their loved ones in their homeland.World leaders will gather to discuss and to pledge money for the reconstruction of Haiti, where the death toll is estimate at 150,000, and the infrastructure is destroyed.
What is the best way to use the vast sums of cash that will be found? Who should coordinate the effort? And how can the future be made better for the people who now face rebuilding their lives in tragic circumstances…?
