Burundians live in fear ahead of presidential elections

Burundi is tense ahead of its presidential election on Monday. The party of the incumbent, Pierre Nkurunziza, won 64% per cent of the vote in recent district polls - a result that was disputed by opposition parties. All six of of them have now withdrawn their candidates from the election and in the last couple of weeks a campaign of intimidation has gripped the country. Grenade attacks across Burundi have left four people dead and over fifty injured.
