Army fights to stop control of Swat Valley changing hands

The Swat Valley was one of the worst-hit regions of Pakistan during the recent floods. Now, several thousand soldiers are working to help those affected. This is an exceptionally sensitive region: until just a year ago it was under Taliban control, before being retaken by the Pakistani army. The authorities now fear that anger at the aftermath of the floods will give the advantage back to Islamist fighters.
