French nationality row: another go at immigrants?

France's plan to strip naturalised French people of their nationality if they commit a serious crime has aroused much controversy across the country. Does this damage the nation whose past is based on proud and bold moves to defend human rights, whose very foundations are based on the three pillars of Freedom, Equality and Brotherhood?
