For Le Figaro, it was a breathtaking entry into the campaign - while Libération points up the irony of the "bling" president presenting himself as opposed to entrenched elites.

Le Monde says it's increasingly a two-horse race - as big threat Marine le Pen falls in the polls - but centrist François Bayrou still makes the front page of Le Parisien.
