Ceasefire called on 4 day Israel-Gaza spat

A truce was declared late on Monday after four days of hostilities between Israel and the Gaza Strip that killed several on both sides. On Friday, the Israeli Army had launched an air strike against suspected militants accused of planning attacks against the Jewish state. Palestinians responded by firing rockets acoss the border. Hamas, which controls Gaza, has made a point of not getting involved; rather, it's the Iranian-backed militant group Islamic Jihad that's behind the attacks on Israel.
