Bernard-Henri Lévy, writer and philosopher

Marc Perelman meets Bernard-Henri Lévy, writer and philosopher, to discuss his film “The Oath of Tobrouk”, an insider’s view of the war in Libya. Bernard-Henri Lévy went to Libya last year to support the rebels fighting Gaddafi’s regime and to urge the Western powers to intervene militarily. Concerning the situation in Syria, he believes a diplomatic solution is not impossible. But if it should fail, he is in favour of military intervention with or without a UN Security Council resolution.
