Hong Kong fights off increasing control by China

Hong Kong is becoming increasingly troublesome to China's Communist Party, as Beijing looks to exert more control over the territory. Distrust and dissatisfaction with the mainland are growing, as are protests against its rule. Thousands of demonstrators descended on government offices on Friday to rally against plans to teach 'Moral and National Education' in schools, which would have seen pupils learning about the successes of China, while leaving out more questionable aspects of its history.
