Today’s guest, John Axelrod, is probably the only conductor working today who was previously a rock'n'roll talent scout for a record company discovering the likes of The Smashing Pumpkins, and the head of a wine firm. Also on the show: the story of opera singer Maria Callas hits the Paris stage, plus we remember Pablo Picasso on the 40th anniversary of his death.
