Al Qaeda orphans left stranded without nationality or rights

Hundreds of children in Iraq find themselves abandoned by the state because their fathers were Al Qaeda fighters. Baghdad refuses to let the orphans become Iraqi citizens, saying its hands are tied as any changes to the law could be taken advantage of by the militants. Considered illegal citizens, the children find themselves without any rights. Our team in Iraq met with some of those affected.
