Villagers fight back against drug cartels

In western Mexico, criminal groups have terrorised entire regions for years. Armed drug traffickers used extortion, rape, murder to silence thousands of people. Whole villages were held hostage to their barbarism, but now they're fighting back. Tepalcatepec, home to 35,000 people, is one such town. After living in fear for twelve years, its residents are no longer afraid to speak out.
