South Africa: Soweto revisited

Soweto, June 1976. Hundreds of students are killed during a peaceful demonstration against apartheid. Thirty years on, the most famous township in South Africa is far from being the ghetto it once was. Today, it’s young, lively and booming. But beneath the surface there is still another Soweto. The scars of segregation are not so easily erased. Our reporters went to find out more.
