Forced marriage both common and taboo in Cameroon

In the far north of Cameroon, forced marriage is one of the widest abuses committed against women. The region is still heavily steeped in tradition, leaving many women to go through this ancient practice and often suffer serious mental and physical health problems as a result. In the face of general indifference, some NGOs are now fighting against the custom.
