Kiev's deal with Moscow infuriates - and relieves - divided Ukrainians

Ukraine is still digesting the news of the pact its President Viktor Yanukovych made with Vladmir Putin last week, in which Russia offered the country a $15bn bailout and a massive cut in the price of gas. Pro-European demonstrators, who still have the heart of central Kiev blocked and barricaded, say the President has surrendered Ukraine to Russian control, and are calling for his resignation. But in the East of the country, there is relief that Russian-Ukrainian relations are on the mend.
