Le Monde: 'Phone-tapped Nicolas Sarkozy threatened by new scandal'

Not just one, but two legal quagmires for former French President Nicolas Sarkozy this week. Le Monde this Friday reported that two judges have been tapping his phones in a bid to find out more about allegations Libyan money could have been used in campaign financing. The "Sarkoleaks" scandal earlier this week, meanwhile, revealed some of Sarkozy's conversations with a political advisor. Both throw his political comeback into doubt.
