Japan revises textbooks to 'boost' island claims

In Japan, schoolchildren are being dragged into the centre of a diplomatic storm. The education ministry has decided that from 2016 onwards, school textbooks will clearly show certain islands as Japanese territory. To many they may seem like remote rocks, but to Japan, China, and South Korea, the various disputes are part of a decades-old struggle, as our report explains.
