Marion Cotillard teams up with Belgium's Dardenne brothers

All eyes will be on Marion Cotillard when she hits the red carpet in Cannes tonight. The Oscar-winning French actress plays a factory worker in "Two Days, One Night" by Belgium's most celebrated filmmakers, the Dardenne brothers. They have won the competition's top prize twice - can they make it three? We'll find out on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Canadian actor Ryan Gosling is presenting his first movie as a director, "Lost River", in the sidebar competition "Un Certain Regard".

Finally, away from the glitz and glamour of the films in competition at Cannes are thousands of film producers vying for some of the limelight. Jade Barker visits the real powerhouse of the festival, the Marché du Film.
