Poland celebrates 10 years in EU (part 1)

It's now ten years since Poland joined the EU. Over the past decade, the former Communist state has received more than €70 billion in EU funds, helping it modernise its economy and agriculture. No wonder many Poles say they are happy to be part of the EU. But as Polish MEP Jacek Saryusz-Wolski explains, the EU election campaign has been dominated by events outside of Poland: the crisis in Ukraine has brought back bad memories among many Poles.
