The rising cost of renewable energy

Germans have been the most outspoken in Europe over the issue of nuclear security, leading to calls for more renewable energy. Changes have taken place, but ordinary consumers say they're shouldering too much of the cost of the "energy transition" compared to large companies. German consumers pay almost 50% more than the European average for their electricity and are becoming increasingly frustrated.
