The Biennale des Antiquaires: Where Miro meets million-dollar jewellery and antiques
It’s been called a destination of pleasure. For more than half a century visitors have been coming to Paris' Grand Palais for the grandest and most spectacular of all art and antique fairs. With its reputation for luxury, opulence and glamour, Eve Jackson went along to admire the goods. Also on the show, we visit the retrospective of French-American artist Niki de Saint Phalle and we're backstage at one of France's oldest theatrical institutions, the "Opera Comique".
