Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam was in New York where he met the International Support Group for Lebanon. With 1.3 million Syrian refugees in Lebanon and Islamist groups proliferating along its border with Syria, the country is in dire need of more help from the international community.
"According to the World Bank, we already have losses around seven billion plus dollars, so yes we need billion to support this humanitarian role the Lebanese have been able to achieve", he told France 24's Marc Perelman.
