Liberia: The daily threat of Ebola

© France 24

Liberia is one of the countries most affected by the outbreak of Ebola, along with Sierra Leone and Guinea.

According to the latest figures published by the World Health Organization, of the 13,676 cases recorded in these three neighbouring countries, 6,535 cases - more than half – were diagnosed in Liberia. More than 2,000 people have already died of the hemorrhagic fever in the country.

Our correspondent in the capital Monrovia went to meet families affected by the epidemic and those who are trying to stem the spread of the virus.
