Countdown to Grexit: Will Greek crisis trigger unwinding of the euro? (part 2)
Issued on: Modified:
This time, there wasn't a deal. Greeks are discovering capital controls with cash machine withdrawals limited to 60 euros a day - this as markets worldwide take fright over the growing possibility of a Grexit. The rest of Europe is furious at the Greek Prime minister for calling a referendum for next Sunday - where he's calling on citizens to vote "no". Sunday, though, can seem a long way away when talks are stalled and Athens has to pay 1.6 billion euros by midnight on Tuesday.
