'Bring Back Our Girls' campaigners set to mark 500 days of abduction

1 min

The "Bring Back Our Girls" advocacy group launches a global week of action to start the countdown to 500 days since the Chibok girls were abducted in Nigeria. Also, a standoff between Zimbabwe's government and street vendors continues. For months, authorities have been cracking down on hawkers. And in DR Congo, it's almost two years since international adoptions were suspended. As a result, over 1,000 Congolese children are unable to get visas.
