CEO of Arianespace calls for 'fair competition' between Europe, US

Stéphane Israël is the CEO of Arianespace, the market leader for launching satellites into space. He spoke to Markus Karlsson at the the Paris Air show, the biggest exhibition in the diary of the global aerospace industry. They discussed the space race of the 21st century.
Stéphane Israël explains that Arianespace's biggest rival is currently the US firm SpaceX. He calls for "fair competition" between Europe and US in the satellite industry.
"When it comes to supporting its industry, I think the US is very efficient. What we need in Europe is also to have strong public, government customers, strongly committed to Ariane," he said.
